Business SegmentCable Entertainment GroupResponsibilities* Design and develop features for Oxygen.com, m.oxygen.com and other Oxygen websites * Implement sophisticated user interfaces using industry standard technologies and techniques. * Support web servers and other servers via scheduled maintenance, performance tuning, and monitoring. * Provide feasibility reviews for potential new projects, including development effort estimates. * Build applications to agreed upon specifications within the required timeframe and budget. * Architect new features in the Drupal CMS and manage the implementation of all CMS features * Manage and oversee daily development tasks of junior developers, provide technical mentorship and guidance where appropriate * Demonstrate deep understanding of LAMP performance and configuration * Conduct peer-reviews of PHP application code, ensuring that all code complies with team standards. * Work with Database Developers to design new features with attention to performance and scalability. * Work with Customer Service and QA to identify and address issues reported by clients quickly and effectively. * Foster relationships with various internal technology team members and work with them to accomplish project tasks. * Work with a third party hosting company to resolve Server related Issues * Take up the role of a System admin when needed. * Maintain and enhance Mobile site which is built using Zend MVC framework.Qualifications/Requirements* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. * Minimum five (5) years developing web sites using PHP or equivalent language * At least three (3) years of experience with Drupal, including 2+ years with Drupal 6/7 * Familiar with Drupal theming and module development * Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and manage rapid development cycles * Experience developing a large scale commercial web application running Drupal. * Comfortable coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery. * Comfortable using Unix/Linux shell scripting.Desired Characteristics* Adobe Omniture experience * Knowledge of Ad tracking, Google Dart * Mobile/Responsive design knowledge * Knowledge of caching/scaling of websites, experience with aiCache and memcacheD preferred NBC Universal is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer promoting diversity in the workplace.
